Signal Conditioners

AMResources produce a range of signal conditioner and interface modules to solve a whole range of connectivity problems encountered in the field.

P542-SCM
The Signal Conditioning module is a high impedance pulse signal conditioner which can work with almost any pulse input source and provide a robust pulse stream to the Prover computer.

It has a 1000:1 input voltage range (25mV to 25 Volts) and a wide frequency range. The high impedance input ensures signals to the service meter are not impacted when the P542-SCM is connected.

The P542-SCM has a 12 Volt output for driving an external pick-up.

P529-AIM
The Analog Isolation Module can be used to isolate the 1-5V voltage signal from a 250 Ohm conditioning shunt, when multiple instruments are reading the same analog loop.

A number of flow computers and other measuring instruments impose a load on the signal when powered down, which impairs accuracy in redundant measurement systems, the P529-AIM solves that problem.

P554-TIM
The Thermistor Interface Module allows the use of thermistor temperature elements to be used with the NÅNO Flow-computer.

The P554-TIM is ideal for use with the LACT-Pro Controller when used with PD meters incorporating thermistor elements

P531-SSB
The Sphere Switch Booster is a high impedance booster allowing the sharing of sphere switches to a second prover computer or with a CIU.

P552-MSD
The Multi-Sampler Driver has 6 highly protected outputs to drive multiple samplers at ACT receiving points, when used with LACT-Pro.

P547-DTI2
The Density Transducer Interface is ideal for header densitometers.
It allows direct connection to Zener barriers in IS installations to multiple flow computers.

It is an upgrade replacement for the Spectra-Tek DTI module, electrically compatible, but is packaged differently.

P555-RPI
The Raw Pulse-bus Input module enables a range of pulse sources, to be used with a NÅNO Prover Computer.

It converts a single ended input signal to the low noise NÅNO differential pulse bus, whilst offering an optically isolated input . Suitable for fiscal DCS systems.

P545-BTM
The Bias & Termination Module is designed to solve RS422 and RS485 communication errors.

The module has two sets of connections, for 4-wire differential communications and the bias voltage (also known as the determination level) is provided by a wide voltage range, isolated supply. Each of the two channels can be set for biasing only, or biasing with transmission line termination, with a jumper setting.
